Summer Boost Application
Charter schools in Baltimore, Birmingham, Memphis, Nashville, New York City, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C. meeting the criteria outlined here are eligible to apply.
This year’s Summer Boost application will be completed and submitted using an electronic platform called Submittable. Submittable will allow you to save your progress and fill out the application in more than one sitting; it is also possible for multiple people to collaborate on one application. Please review the information below for details.
- You may preview the Summer Boost application questions by clicking here.
- When you are ready to begin your Summer Boost application, click APPLY NOW and create a Submittable account (if you already have an account, you may use your existing one). You will fill out a brief eligibility form and, if eligible, proceed to the application questions.
- If you plan to have multiple people collaborating on your application, the first person from your organization to create a Submittable account will be the Application Owner. We recommend making sure this is the main point of contact for your organization’s application.
- The Application Owner can click Manage Collaborators on the top right-hand side of the form, enter the email addresses of collaborators, and click invite. The collaborators will receive an email prompting them to create an account.
- Collaborators will be able to edit your organization’s application, but only the Application Owner can submit.
- Application Owners should coordinate with collaborators to ensure there is a clear plan for completing the application. If multiple people are working on the application concurrently, one person may overwrite another person’s changes.
Applications are due no later than 11:59 PM ET on Friday, March 14, 2025.
